PSSM is a genetic disorder which affects the equine musculoskeletal system in various breeds of horses. Though still unknown to many, PSSM is diagnosed more and more often. Information about the disease is hard to find and scattered across many different sources, that even seem to contradict themselves at times. This site serves to offer a centralised place to share information regarding the several types of PSSM, how to test for them and how to manage affected horses, based on what we know about the different types of PSSM.

This site is an inititative run by volunteers to provide information to those who need it. We are not linked to any institution, researcher or company.

We aim to keep this site up-to-date at all times. Research into PSSM is ongoing and this website is continuously updated, so be sure to check back regularly to get all the latest information.
